Vegan soup recipes

Please note: I strive for healthy, low fat soup recipes. Thus, what you'll find tends to be low on oil and unless it's found naturally in the fruit or vegetable, low in fat. I prefer simple, elegant soups. If, however, you find the soup lacking in flavor for whatever reason, check the addendum on each recipe--it includes spice suggestions and methods of preparation that could enhance the dish for the tradeoff of additional calories. However you prepare the vegan soups... enjoy!

Required ingredients: Potato, corn, butterfruit OR cashews, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and sugar.


Required ingredients: Red pepper corn soup are: an ear of corn, red capsicum, butterfruit or cashew nuts, soy milk, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and a dash of sugar.






Required ingredients: Zucchini, salt, tomato coconut chutney.







Required ingredients: Tomato, cucumber, red onion, coconut chutney, salt to taste.

  1. Hi Catherine! I am a vegetarian and mostly vegan also. Your beautiful blog is very inspiring and so informative! I have been experimenting with Indian cooking without using onion and garlic in my vegetables.. I can share some recipes with you- if you like them you can put them here. all the best!
